Thanks to all our members who joined our league events this summer at OnTrack Karting and Copper
Hill Golf Course. The off-season is a great time to reconnect with teammates and even do some
recruiting. Stay connected by organizing a team bike ride or casual hike up your usual race hill! And be
sure to share your pictures with us on Facebook!
The off season is also the best time to make sure you’re prepared for next season, in more ways than
one. Did your favorite gloves finally get a hole that duct tape can’t fix? Hit one too many rocks with your
trusty spring skis when you were skiing until Memorial Day? Keep an eye out for summer tent sales to
get deals on last season’s gear. And, as always, head over to our partner shops, Ski Tunes and Suburban
Sports, to stock up on the latest and greatest for this winter.
Another way to be prepared for that first snowfall is to stay in skiing-shape in the off season. Not only
can staying active help prevent injury during the season but it can also help you achieve your skiing and
riding goals, whether that means beating your closest competition or just trusting your legs a little more
on the hill. Here are some links to get you started:
Through all your summer adventures, remember to listen in to PEAK3Radio through the TuneIn app, a
station that is dedicated to blending the lifestyle of skiing and snowboarding with great music and news!
Check back here in the fall for information about registration, the league kickoff party, and getting
together for the Warren Miller movie tour.
